Dr Siyat Abdi, is a visually impaired individual from an Ethno-cultural Linguistic Diverse background. Dr Abdi is a Systemic Advocate for KIN Disability Advocacy here in Perth WA and has been involved with supporting culturally and linguistically diverse people with disabilities from refugee and migrants backgrounds for over 25 years. He is walking 10 KM from Scarborough Beach to City Beach and back to mark the Big Walk 4 Refugees and to fundraise for CARAD to reflect the long, often invisible journeys of people displaced by conflict and crisis.
