How it works
When you register (external link takes you to Humanitix), you will be asked to join a team. You need to join a team so that your steps count towards the total. You will be given these options:
- Join a state team
- Join any other team already registered
- Register a new team
Once you're registered, we'll email you everything you need:
- How to log your activity via the Big Walk website or app
- Link to the Big Walk website and app (you can find a sneak preview here)
- Ideas for local events - let us know of any local events you are planning so we can add it to the Big Walk Calendar
- Information about key sites that we pass on the new virtual route
- Campaign strategies for taking action and contacting politicians along the way.
Register NOW and add your activities until Monday 30th June.

$15 – Concession (Pension/Senior/ Unemployed/Student)
$25 – Full Price
$40 – Supporter Price
Why is there an entry fee in 2025?
We have introduced fees to cover the cost of the Big Walk app. We have kept costs as affordable as possible - and any profits will go to a refugee charity.
